Its still Christmas in Lanzarote! After celebrating Christmas Eve known as «Noche Buena» the attention has turned to the arrival of the 3 Kings on the 5th January after the New Year celebrations. During the wait Arrecife is promoting its first Christmas Fair. It opened on 23/12/23 and will run until the 07/01/24. The mayor has highlighted that the creation of this Christmas Fair in the capital of Lanzarote is part of the initiatives to relaunch Arrecife, also allowing citizens and visitors to enjoy many leisure and entertainment activities as a family. The mayor also recalled that 2023 is a special year for Arrecife as it commemorates the 225th anniversary since the City was founded. The Christmas Fair has a natural ice rink, children’s attractions, a gastronomy area and a market, as well as a large stage for performances and entertainment. The City Council has had the support and collaboration of the Lanzarote Cabildo and the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers to carry out this first edition of the Christmas Fair. The Christmas Fair will remain open until January 7, 2024. On December 31, and January 6, it will have special hours from 12 to 7 p.m.
