A new Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane operated by the airline Air Europa airline has taken to the skies with the name of Lanzarote and the caption ‘A Unique Island’ painted onto the rear of its fuselage. SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote has an agreement with the airline for the initiative.The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and Minister of Tourism, Oswaldo Betancort, highlighted the positive impact of the idea which will promote the image of Lanzarote and the brand values associated with the main international airports to improve the position of the island in the markets contemplated in the #LanzarotePremium strategic line”.The Air Europa plane will bear the name of Lanzarote on the more than 70 long-haul routes that it has scheduled each month.
