A study by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) concludes that a tourist bus would reduce emissions in Lanzarote by 15% if it were used by 20% of tourists who would normaly rent a car when on holiday to see the attractions. A report also highlights the need to improve the public transport network. A survey was carried out interviewing tourists who mostly would be willing to change the rental car for the tourist bus. It proves more and more people are becomming aware of the necesity to change our habits to improve the envioroment and work against climate change.
