The luxury cruise ship “The World Voyager” was welcomed into the port of Arrecife for the very first time today (27th May 2021). The luxury ship which measure 126 metres long and has 97 crew members and 74 passengers. It is built with state of the art technology and has the capacity to hold up to 200 passengers and it is also totally ecological. It sails at 25 knots to minimise pollution and produces its own drinking water by a Reverse Osmosis system and also transforms the waste generator into ashes. There is even has a small Helicopter landing pad for emergency evacuations.
The luxury ship was previously in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura but started its voyage in Viana do Castelo in Portugal. It will visit the Canary Islands and finally disembark in Tenerife.
