Neighbors and devotees of San Isidro left at the feet of the figure of the Holy, non-perishable foods and fruits of the earth to be distributed among families in need, a gesture of solidarity that honors the authentic feeling of rosemary and romeras. Participants dressed in their typical costumes and the presence of chariots and decorated animal traction cars, adorned the pilgrimage.

In the true tradition of the romeria pilgrims dressed in traditional costumes left food at the statue of San Isidro to be later distributed amongst the needy. The saint is also known as Isadore the farmer and was born in 1070. He is the catholic patron of farmers.
